Karl has been teaching and coaching tennis since 1981 at facilities for Cities, Park and Recreations, Junior Colleges, Van Nuys High School, Westlake Village Inn Tennis Club and now Westlake Athletic Club. His specialty is coaching USTA teams and high energy clinics. He likes to make the clinics Instructional, cardio intensive, and lots of laughs. He also enjoys taking two trips each year out to Palm Dessert entertaining as many as 52 members at the Shadow Mountain Tennis Resort. He is currently the District 1 President for the USPTA Southern California Division. He has been a demonstrator or speaker at 4 USTPA National Conventions. Over the years, 3 of his students have become Tennis Professionals and 2 were on the Challenger circuit. They all are now teaching professionals in Southern California. He also enjoys being on staff at least once a year teaching tennis at resorts in Jamaica, St. Lucia, or the Bahamas. You will find Karl doing clinics on Wednesday and Thursday nights and Sunday mornings.
