Tennis Update

Do you want to pass the love of tennis onto the next generation? If so, the WAC junior program is looking for some part time help. The WAC junior program has been one of the best programs in the Conejo Valley for many years now. Lead by our Tennis Director, Chris Dudeck and Head Pro Vedant Raval, the program is focused on giving the juniors the best instruction while also finding a love of the sport. To continue to provide this experience for our juniors, we need enthusiastic assistant pros out there on the court. The job only requires a few hours a week. If you have good energy and like kids, Chris and Vedant will show you all you need to know to teach proper techniques and how to run a clinics. Please email Chris Dudeck ([email protected]) if you are interested in teaching as much as 5 days a week, or as little as 1 day.

Ball mowers on the back courts: We have several ball mowers located on courts 7-11 and they should be placed against one of the poles on located on either side of the net with the handle facing outward when not in use. This is the safest place for the ball mower to rest. Please do not take them off of the courts. They are expensive and get rattled around when players move them to the walking path. This has caused expensive repairs and replacements. Our coaches have been informed to place them in the proper location at the end of their lessons or clinics.
